Why are my stars so blurry??
After a long night taking pictures of the sky, nothing is worse than reviewing your images and finding that your stars were just barely out of focus.
Maybe it looked right in the live view screen, but once they're imported to the computer, the fuzzy stars stand out like trophies of a wasted night.
We've all been there.
But it doesn't have to happen again...
The Bahtinov Mask is your answer. This inexpensive tool creates predictable diffraction spikes in your image. Apply the mask when you're setting up, focus until the middle spike is centered as shown below, then gently slip the mask off to begin shooting in perfect focus.
This mask is made from sturdy, lightweight aluminum alloy. Specially designed for telescopes, it will remain secured until you're ready to remove it.
Whether you’re doing planetary visual observing, planetary imaging, or deep-sky imaging, the Bahtinov Mask is a great accessory to get the best focus for your telescope quickly and easily.
Available in multiple sizes. Each mask is adjustable within the range listed. Remember to measure the exterior diameter of your telescope opening.
Package Include:
1 X Bahtinov Mask.
3 X Brass bolt and fitting plastic covers.
